Our Story
Adukka means ‘running’ in Luganda — inspired by Luke’s childhood nickname Lukka Adukka and Hebrews 12:1-2.
Luke’s love for coffee began as a boy when he moved to Uganda. Much like his love for Uganda itself and the people he met, his passion for coffee only grew the longer he spent there.
Six months into his relationship with Sarah, the couple visited Uganda together and dreamed of one day having their own coffee farm and starting a coffee company. Though the Lord put that dream on pause at the time, it remained a desire close to their hearts.
Now, living in Uganda, Luke and Sarah felt it was the perfect season to pursue the seed God planted more than seven years ago as a couple — and over fifteen years ago for Luke. Aduuka Coffee is the fruit of that calling: a brand rooted in faith, purpose, and intentional living, honoring the people and communities behind every bean!

Aduuka Coffee is rooted in Uganda and inspired by a simple truth: we are called to run the good race (Hebrews 12:1-2). Just as Luke earned the name “Lukka Adukka” racing dirt bikes, we strive to live intentionally, pursuing faith, purpose, and hope. Each cup is a reminder to move forward with purpose — while supporting Ugandan farmers and communities, one bean at a time!
